Hi! Sorry if this is not the best board to ask. I wasn’t exactly sure where to put it…

I am studying abroad in Florence for a few months. (May—July) I was wondering what kind of clothes to bring. I’d like to not stand out as a tourist. (I know I’ll still stand out a little but to lessen the obviousness.)

Where do Italian women shop for clothes in Florence? What are the most popular brands? Also, which places do they shop online? I heard linen was a good material for the heat. Please correct me if I’m wrong (or if there’s a better material). If you have any other suggestions/recommendations (like accessories, shoes, purses, etc.), please feel free to share!
