Hello everyone.
Just a little bit of rant of how the story has progressed so far. I've watched latest Episode 5 at the time of this writing and this will be full of spoilers.
I've discovered the series through Twitter post video >! Gabby murdering villagers at episode 1 and I've wanted to see what justice and redemption arc she gets later and posts on it said she gets no justice and the main protag cozies up with her and her squad shortly !< >!which was really disheartening. It might not help that this is the first thing I've seen from this series and this caused me to be biased.!<
I hate how >! everything Asa and Gabby did in the village just somehow got swept under the rug.!<
>!Asa killed Yuru's other Asa who he has known and grew up with his whole life, made memories with, played together pretty much his real sister. It doesn't matter if she was fake, a magical construct or whatever, that's not the point.!<
>!And I'm glad he's not cozy with her immediately with all her being super kawaii and adoring him when she met him at the Kagemori residence.!<
>!He didn't get to defeat her, make her think about what she has done and basically no justice gets done it seems from the pace it's going at.!<
>!Reminds me of Bihan's quote from MK9, "We share blood, we are not brothers." in that this Asa is not Yuru's sister and his real sister, the one he grew up with was killed in front of him. Just a stranger that has same blood as him but not his sister at all, a murderer who he has to team up to survive.!<
>!Moving into Gabby, when she murdered the villagers I know, Yuru wasn't there and haven't seen it and the only solace I've got was Yuru defeated her by arrowing her twice and that was it.!<
>!No remorse, no afterthought.!<
>!I don't care what excuse she has, that poor child lost her mother and has to live with that for the rest of her life, even if the villagers were guilty of sacrifice and other wrong doings, they deserved a reform not to have their lives taken away from them against their will.!<
>!Where's the justice in that?!<
>!I do hope Yuru really reminds them of their wrong doings and let them know that he won't easily forgive them until they make up for it. !<
These are my thoughts, sorry for long post.

EDIT: Appreciate all the input, I'll continue watching the anime episodes until season 1 finishes then might read the manga to its latest as its still ongoing, I've heard. I've grown fond of Yuru as protag and enjoy the squad Left, Right, Dera and Hana.
