So I have played three colonies to success, first Folktails on medium, then Ironteeth on medium, and now Folktails on hard, and I am missing the reliability of Ironteeth power production.

For those not in the know, the IT badwater sealing thing causes badwater to flow constantly when open, even during droughts. This means with a bit of terraforming you can end up with an endless, uninterruptible source of flowing badwater which you can put waterwheels on. FT windmills do exist, but they just randomly shut off so you need a whole lot of gravity batteries to maintain full production of your factories. As well as building significantly more of them as you need to charge your batteries as well as power your factories when the wind is happening.

On lower difficulties it isn't that bad, as droughts aren't that long so just letting your factory stop during them isn't horrible, but on hard mode they last forever. And it's worse when you start getting bots going, as they don't sleep so you can't charge your batteries at night.

I'm at the point where I am hoping for badtides rather than droughts, as I can at least produce stuff during them. Well, if I would if I didn't build this massive windfarm/gravity battery array.

Am I alone in thinking the windmills need a bit of a buff?
