I've been hitting the gym pretty consistently lately and my skin has kind of gone downhill. I’m getting dry patches but also breakouts around my jaw and forehead, which is confusing because I thought working out would help overall health.
I’ve tried basic drugstore stuff before but nothing really stuck, felt either too harsh or didn’t do much at all. I don’t want a complicated 10 step routine, just something simple that actually makes a difference and doesn’t feel like a chore.
Do most of you just stick to a basic cleanser and moisturizer or is there actually something worth adding that helps with texture and breakouts? Also how often are you washing your face after workouts without overdoing it?
I’m also wondering if spending a bit more on higher quality products is actually noticeable or just hype.
