My Attempt at Updating Outdated Lost and Forgotten Texture Pack... wish me luck pt.2
(to be clear this is a help/question but also a discussion post)
Well so far i have updated a few textures and am having problems still with the fence, wall and one stair textures. What i can list that i have updated is here:
-Copper Golem alive and statue form in all states
-Glow Squid
-Crying Obsidian
-Cherry tree (leaves, wood and planks)
-all boat textures (including chests)
-updated the name of the project (Project name: Kaynecraft Resurrection 1.21.11)
-most of the spears in both forms
-all copper and netherite tools
-netherite armour
-turtle helmet
-Pale oak (wood and planks only)
-most particle textures updated into induvial textures
-copper and netherite blocks
-soul fire and soul campfire (also regular campfire)
(dont know what else i might be missing but here is what i remember so far i have done)
Now onto the big thing i need help with and that is trying to fix the textures i have mentioned above and this is for java to be clear and i am not sure if it is a debugging thing that the info thing at the bottom of the post appeared but i have to at least mention that for some reason i am not sure why those purple and black checkered textures are there. i get it is an old texture pack i am updating but yeah. also sorry for i have not posted for a while but i had a burn out and i am trying to get back to the grind but before i can do that i need help with these fixes.
also forgot to mention but the double textures for certain blocks do not work like the regular brick texture has more than one surface for the old texture pack for 1.8.9 but can't find a way to do such like that. anyways i am getting off track of the last problem which i found out which is the gate texture when the gate is opened.
(almost forgot) but the textures for the torch doesnt work anymore with the extended texture if you know what i am saying i can show a before and after for anyone who might be able to please help me with such.
part of the reason why i need help with this is because i am not much of a programmer but more or so i cannot find any guides online so far on how to update these certain texture.
