The money comes through the cashiers right now, period. I'll be scheduled as an overlap cashier. Cashier 1 leaves. Cashier 2 comes in, asks the MOD, where do you want me? If line goes down, go to whatever section. (multiple people already working sales floor) WTH! Cashier 2 helps a couple people, leaves their hangers and returns, and just leaves.
Line forms, I have to keep calling..rinse, repeat. No second cashier. A lot of stuff to do around the registers even with no line. Customers are mad. I just don't get it. There are people standing in line waiting to give us their money and everybody is on the floor, even the scheduled cashiers. Very exhausting and stressful.
