[Seiko LM] This Is Why I Love Vintage Seiko — Violet LM Dial in Motion

Recently picked up this Seiko Lord Matic 5606-7300 and honestly didn’t expect it to hit this hard in person.

The violet dial is already special, but paired with the faceted crystal it just transforms completely under light. It’s not even a sunburst—more like this layered, wave-like texture that shifts depending on angle. Sometimes it looks deep plum, sometimes brighter violet, and the crystal kind of breaks the light across the surface in a really satisfying way.

It’s one of those watches that’s hard to capture in photos. On wrist, it just keeps changing.

70s Seiko really knew how to play with texture and light, and this is a perfect example of that.

My first 40mm Oris Pointer Date, but i might have picked up the best Oris.

Finally got my first 40mm Oris Big Crown Pointer Date, and man… this one just feels right. (If you know me, you

know that i like my 36mm)

I think i accidentally picked up the best version too — ETA 2824-2 and plexiglass. The plexi gives that soft warm look, slight distortion on the edges, makes the dial feel alive in a way sapphire just doesn’t. Hard to explain until you see it in person.

It’s not flashy, not trying too hard… but every time i look at it, it just hits. Simple, old school, honest watch.

Kinda crazy how something this simple can feel this good on wrist.

WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK?!!💪💪💪🙏🙏🙏
