Tried searching but cannot seem to find where the patch for that singular action is.

Hi everyone! I am fairly new to koreader, only jailbroke my kindle 12th gen a day ago.
Have a couple of questions (have tried searching but still lost...lol):
Can someone explain gestures to me in simple terms/signpost me to a video?
I have a large number of books I have already read, need to change their status on KOReader. All my books are on Calibre, but cannot seem to figure out how to sync the Read status.
I get an error when I try to use the patch "2-series-badge-numbered". Every other patch I have works fine. Wondering why I am doing wrong.
Is it because I also have "2-percent-badge" patch?

PS: I don't have ProjectTitle, tried installing it a couple of times yesterday, but kept crashing and uninstalling KOReader when I attempted to added patches.
