does my music accomplishment help with college apps if im stem

no, i did not do it for college apps, i actually have a passion and love the instrument i play. i was just wondering, since i was second internationally for the instrument(took a lot of work), and the instrument is pretty big, would it hold any weight if im applying stem. i always thought that aos wouldnt care because im applying stem. would it be a tier 1 in my ecs list(emnlp main, usaco plat, iclr workshop, icml workshop, neurips workshop, nonprofit with 1M+ raised), or would it be towards the bottom?

grade deflation at school

do college take into grade deflation at school? I've seen many schools where you get on B, have a 3.99 gpa, and boom you're literally rank 40-50. my school is super deflated and there are classes where maybe 1-2 people get an a in the entire class, and they have to sell their soul to do so. would my 3.89 uw/4.67w be a red flag to colleges, if my school doesn't rank, but I know im in the top 15-20 out of a class of nearly 600? I'm aiming for t20s btw. i also have a 36 act if that helps, but idk if my gpa gets filtered out.

mit cds

why does mit not release gpa info in their cds? A lot of schools do this like caltech, duke etc, but a lot of schools also do release the info(stanford, harvard, berkeley). just curious about the choice
