Seems to be a lot of face value tickets being sold now on here?

Been following this sub for weeks in disgust at the price people are paying for tickets. All of a sudden I'm seeing so many last minute unscheduled trips, meetings, weddings, graduations, bar mitzvahs leaving poor souls with no option other than to sell their tickets at face value to recoup their initial outlay. 🤔 Bad luck scalpers. 🤣

Rinnai and gas usage

Probably a dumb question but here goes anyway.

I have Rinnai which is used to heat all of our hot water on mains gas. According to the manufacturer it uses 200mj/h of gas per hour which is the equivalent of around 56kw/h. Excluding all the other gas charges and GST we currently pay 11 cents per kw/h.

So does that mean regardless of whether I'm using a shower, kitchen taps or gas central heating (radiators) or all of them at once, I'm paying roughly$6.00 per hour?

Now I've written it down it seems simple but is it?

Thanks!

Delaware fishing

Morning fishos. We're coming over to the US from New Zealand in July for the WC and a family member has kindly organized a fishing charter for us from Delaware. They live in Bethany Beach so assume it will launch from around there. I have been googling what species we might catch but TBH they are mostly unfamiliar to us in NZ (and we fish a lot). I'm hoping we will do some game fishing if thats possible in Delaware/that time of year. Maybe some bottom bashing as well. Anyway, any intel on what species we might encounter on a charter would be great so we can be prepared. It's only a day charter, no overnight so won't be going miles offshore.

Thanks!

Hi, we're coming over from New Zealand in July for the WC and will be staying in Marathon for a few days and I was hoping to hop on a fishing charter as we're a hardcore fishing family. Over here there would be half day options to join other fishos on a boat as opposed to chartering the whole thing ourselves ($$$). Is there any charters in the Keys that do this?

Thanks so much!

PS - yes we know it will be hot and humid. I doubt it's any worse than Northern Queensland or WA in Australia.

Morning. Does anyone on here have intel on the job market for a Counsellor in Wellington? Asking on behalf of my sister who wants to move from the UK to Wellington to start with (she's visited numerous times). In her words - she's a qualified cognitive behavioral therapist looking for solution focused therapy work (e.g. bereavement counseling or similar person centered work). She will have NZAC membership and has maybe 5 years experience.

Counsellor is a tier 1 role on the green list so getting a Visa should be easier.

Working for someone else even in a junior role would be fine to start her off.

Thanks
