I’m mostly collecting for investment/ resale. Not a gamer (but I was mad into MTG back in the day). I have sent 2 submissions (50 cards) to CGC for grading. I was happily satisfied with the grades. Each time I got them back in under 2 months. I made my first submission to PSA March 3rd. The Slabtracker app shows you at which stage of the process your cards are. There are 8 stages. I’m still sitting at stage 3 - research and ID. This is 2 months in. Do you guys know what an average turnaround time is for submissions? I mean, as an investor, the further from the set release date you get, typically, the more the “hype” settles. And card values will decrease. It would suck to wait 4 or 5 months and lose the difference between a CGC Pristine 10 and a PSA 10. Sort of defeats the purpose of paying so much more per card for the higher values PSA commands. Thoughts??
