Something I didn’t expect in college — how hard it is to find a real friend.
At first, you think everyone’s your friend. You hang out, laugh, sit together in class… it all feels genuine. But slowly you start noticing things — people only around when it’s convenient, weird competition, talking behind backs, disappearing when you actually need them.
Not saying everyone is fake, but real ones are honestly rare.
If you have even one person who’s genuinely there for you, no drama, no hidden intentions… that’s enough. That’s rare.
