Need help to shortlist sneakers for office

Hi All,

I’m looking for sneakers for office to pair up with Chinos or denims

I have shortlisted 3 as of now:

  • Reebok walking shoes
  • Puma club era
  • Nike Heritage

Personally I loved the design of Reebok shoes though not sure of the comfort due to thinner outsole.

What I’m looking for:

  • Sleek / minimal design (not bulky sporty shoes)
  • Comfortable for all-day wear

Would appreciate feedback from the fellow community members, if there are that I might have missed.

Post Hospitalisation Rejected

Hi everyone,

Here’s my situation:

Hospitalisation date: 25 March

During hospital stay, my sum insured got exhausted

Policy renewal date: 29 March

I submitted post-hospitalisation bills in April (medicines, follow-ups, tests etc.)

Insurer has now rejected the claim, saying the hospitalisation belongs to the previous policy period

I’m confused because the expenses happened after renewal, when a fresh sum insured had started.

Is this rejection correct as per policy rules?

Hi All,

I’m looking for sneakers for office wear with a budget of ₹3k.

What I’m looking for:

  • Sleek / minimal design (not bulky sporty shoes)
  • Low maintenance (prefer something that doesn’t need constant cleaning)
  • Comfortable for all-day wear

I actually like the designs from US Polo (like the one above), but I’m a bit unsure about the quality and durability of their sneakers.

I checked Asics and New Balance, but:

  • Either they go out of budget
  • Or they start looking slightly bulky / sporty

Would love suggestions for clean, minimal sneakers that work well with office outfits

Hi moms,

I’m looking to join some active WhatsApp communities for fellow moms where people share recommendations, experiences, shopping tips, parenting discussions, etc.

I already know about IPF, but would love to discover other good and supportive communities as well.

If you’re part of any helpful groups and are comfortable sharing or pointing me in the right direction, please let me know 🙏

Thanks so much! 💛

Hi everyone,

I run a very small homegrown bedding/home decor brand and recently faced a situation that has left me quite stressed. I’d really appreciate some neutral advice.

We accidentally shipped the wrong product in an order (our mistake, and we fully accepted it).

As soon as the customer reported the issue, we offered two options:
• Keep the product at a discounted price
• Or we arrange a return/refund

During our chat, the customer mentioned that the bedding had already been used (they shared that their baby and dog had been on it) and even asked if they should wash it before sending it back.

We explained that taking back a used bedding product becomes very difficult.

At one point, we politely asked why the product was used if it was incorrect, just to understand the situation better. The conversation became tense after that, and the focus shifted to our tone rather than resolving the issue.

However, the situation escalated when the customer — who is an admin of a WhatsApp community where we had previously sold products — posted selective chat screenshots, blamed us publicly, and then removed us from the group before we could respond.

I completely understand the mix-up was our mistake and we apologised for it. But I’m struggling with the fairness of being publicly called out and not even sharing a basic apology for using the product.

As a small business, situations like this are very stressful and can seriously impact reputation and trust.

Would love honest opinions:
• Was refusing a return of a used bedding product unreasonable?
• How should small brands handle public callouts like this?

Note: Buyer claims to help other entrepenuers using her whatsapp group.
