Usually, you can’t just walk in on a contracted project, declare yourself in charge of It, and then expect the contractor to agree with you. Like, If I were to walk into a defense contractor’s office and tell everyone I’m in charge of whatever they’re building for the US military, I’d probably be arrested.

in TROS, when Finn introduces himself to Jannah, she appears to speak as if shed heard of him before they met. But Finn defected in 34 ABY and she defected at the Battle of Ansett Island that ended 33 ABY. So she wouldn’t have heard of Finn over a metaphorical stormtrooper campfire, if I am making sense.
