Anyone considered Malaysia or neighbouring countries?

Hi NRIs, I am in the process of thinking of returning from Europe. I have a PR not an EU passport. After looking at some Tier-2 cities in India, I am also considering countries like Malaysia which is close to India but much cleaner and better infrastructure. Has anyone moved here with an EU remote job? Are there any visas that support remote workers who can live in Malaysia and pay taxes?

Hi boys, I am in my mid-30s, curves in the right places and not into cosmetic surgery of any sort. I'm originally from Sri Lanka but based in Europe. I have no kids, and I am highly educated with a Master's degree. I think I am just tired of the hustle and corporate life, and doing things for others, like family and societal expectations. I am now interested in a traditional lifestyle where I might run a small business or write books, in addition to managing a home, which I am pretty good at.

Is this something that men are seeking? Or it's always young Asian women from the Philippines, Vietnam, etc?

I work part time remotely for a stable company and I have a startup on the side. It was fun to begin with but with time this entrepreneurship journey has been lonely and full of regrets. Nobody understands your problems, your sacrifices and all the money you've spent on a business that you are solely responsible for.

Hi NRIs, I'm a woman in my mid 30s and I work remotely and have been thinking of relocating to India if I am able to find the right place. Originally from the South, I am single and childfree(plan to stay this way) and currently based in Europe. I am only looking to rent for as long as possible, not interested in buying a house. Somewhere close to nature for the lakes/mountains/hikes and be close enough to a big city for medical facilities and socialising with new friends that I hope to make.

Most of these places are also dominated by families, very small % of single or childfree couples. I considered Ooty/Connor but the nearest big city is far away and I will be isolated without any social circle. So far only South Goa has come close but off late it seems like it's been taken over by wealthy politicians and everything has become equal to the cost of Bangalore.

Any suggestions?

Looking for an editor to create aesthetic AI videos of 1-1.5 mins only for a storytelling page. You need to post twice a week, and the pay is 5k monthly. Payment is by bank transfer.

Skills required are - you should have social media experience, know how to use AI tools for videos, and can tell a story visually. Preferably already have a subscription to the tool you use.

Hi folks, my grandfather has fertile land in India, it's a few acres and he has passed it on to me in his will. I have no agricultural background and I am based in Europe so I have no use for this land. The valuation stands at 100-120k but the issue is most people in this part of the country already own their land and use it for farming reasons so I doubt I will find a buyer.

As a woman who has no spouse or kids, I really don't have anyone to pass it on to in the future. It's a beautiful countryside region with valleys and rice fields but I am a city girl so I really don't know what to do it with it.

Woman in my 30s here. I may be overthinking this, but I get the sense that my family and friends often reach out to me only when they need financial help, not for emotional or affectionate reasons. I make an effort to call them, ask about their lives often, invite them to events, etc., but in return, I get a lot of dismissal as someone who has a "comfortable" life due to the fact that I am childfree and can loan them money.

The whole thing makes me feel lonely and unloved.

Hi folks, I just wanted to vent. I visited Malta 2-3 months ago as a solo Asian female traveller in my 30s, and I fell in love with the country. I stayed in Birgu and travelled everywhere! I met a really charming Maltese man in Gozo who runs a few guesthouses. We exchanged numbers and kept in touch after I came back to my country, and we talked every day. Recently, I told him I am going to try to get a job in Malta and move there, and we could also meet often. A day after this, he ghosts me completely! Blocks me everywhere, and that was the end. I was left to figure out what had happened.

I really don't know if this is a sign not to try to get work and move to Malta or just stop looking for love altogether.
