Roam from Home
Hello,
I just wanted to share a recent trip I had using Roam from Home on the Roger’s network. I had purchased the Roam from Home for a week at a cost of $50 (Cdn). I thought it would be the easy thing to use as I was only going to be gone for a week.
The trouble started as soon as I landed as I need to restart my phone. Not a massive issue. I thought. But what quickly happen was that anytime I went on the train (either to another city or underground) I would lose connection. I would have to turn off roaming. Turn on airplane mode. Or turn off the phone for period of time. To reconnect to the system. Needless to say this became quite annoying. There were certain time that it would work really well but for the majority it was a real pain. I would never use Roam from Home again and will use another eSIM app instead.
