Planet of Lana 2 was a beautiful sequel

I absolutely adored the first game (made a post about what I liked on this sub if your interested) and the sequel didn't disappoint.

Once again the music composed by Takeshi Furukawa is just beautiful, nothing massively different to the first but has enough of a change to show the progression but recall back to our past memories with the game.

The visuals are gorgeous as ever, love the art style of a painting like design, vibrant and pretty with plenty of eye candy on top of the new biomes and locations that we get to explore.

The story progresses Lanas and Muis journey, it manages to keep the intrigue around the space faring civilisation dpesite what was revealed in the first game which was fun to learn about as your revealed more details. It sets up a 3rd installment very well, or not as the ending for now can be interpreted however you like to, up to the studio if they want to (please do it!!!!!)

Gameplay is also a progression of the first, again nothing drastic or different but it's enough where it's refreshing but familiar as well as puzzles requiring more thought and consideration which I liked alot.

Planet of Lana 2 is a wonderful game, it took me about 9hrs to finish though I did take my time and walked alot through location to location, probably looking at 7ish hours of playtime for a standard playthrough. Very much worth the price being offered for the experience visually, musically, gameplay and story wide.

Thanks for reading if you did!
