saw smo else do this and thought I'd write something too. I've never touched reddit until this year. I never thought I could be so invested in a subreddit let alone checking multiple times a day seeing the exhilaration of acceptances, the tragic or rejections and the nervousness of anticipated rounds.
thank you all for being here, all the posts, comments...somehow theyve encouraged me to try harder and have hope
its beautiful to see so many students all in the same boat nervous about the direction their travelling and holding on to each other...the hate, love, debates, support and questions are uniquely ours and have created a bond that stretches beyond our differences. despite the pressure that we face during application season, I always find myself back on this sub, heart warmed, knowing that it's not a pressure we have to face ourselves, but one we can face together.
yet the sub also encourages the branching of our future, as it dies out for the summer months and the class of '26 goes on their own unique paths, I believe we'll all remember the avgs and ecs, the rage bait, memes and the return of attemptbrah.
and for that thank you ontariogr12s...I love you truly. Slowly and surely I'll stop checking but I'll always remember you and look back as I walk along the path of my future. Whoever you are reading this, wherever around the world and whatever your journey may look like, I wish you all the best! Congratulations class of 2026❤️
