What are clothes supposed to look like? Idk anymore

Edit: Thank you to everyone who replied with their advice! I believe I do need to get used to some of the changes. I suppose its also the time factor where I haven't really seen things happen this fast so was caught a bit off-guard. Will keep em around for now and if things get functionally unbearable, off to vinted (thank you to everyone who suggested that! Checked it out for the first time yesterday haha)

Okay, I debated posting this in the fashion subreddits but I am not sure if this would count. But basically, I was at the gym yesterday and I caught sight of my leggings in the mirror. Now, this pair used to fit fine, it's one of those elastane ones. Since the start of my journey, I've lost a stone so not a tonne of weight at all.

I've asked a couple of people and they've all said it looks fine but to me, it just feels off. And it's not just this pair, I feel like my entire wardrobe just looks weird and its become pretty disheartening because I feel better but I think I look worse than I did.

I can't exactly go on shopping sprees at the moment so I don't know what to do.

Am I overthinking? Do they actually look fine?

Are we finally figuring things out?

Not directly MJ related but obesity related for sure. PCOS (which is comorbid with liver issues, obesity, metabolic disorder etc) is being renamed "polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome to correct the misconception that it is solely a gynaecological disease that creates ovarian cysts"

I genuinely didn't think I would be around to see this happen. We still don't know if its genetic or what triggers it or how to effectively treat it. Symptoms can be managed but medication has barely changed for decades.

I've been on at least 3 medications since 17 to deal with it. MJ is one of many. Feeling emotional that there is some light flecks at the end of the tunnel

Hello! I'm a curvy/ plus size petite and I am looking for a midi dress that is work appropriate. The issue that I'm running into is that regular stores just don't have very many petite friendly pieces so I end up looking like I'm wearing maxi dresses to work (which isn't the vibe I'm going for). Any tips on where I can snag a nice dress or two before the summer heat kicks off?

So, for the longest time I was fighting against my cool tones. People from my community just don't do muted or cool-toned shades. Red has to be like in your face red, think Dior 999. Blue has to be cobalt. Pastels are reserved for like everyday, simple wear (though that is changing). All of which to say, I always thought I was warm, when I'm not and initially learning that I was cool-toned sent me for a loop.

And I just didn't want to experiment with make-up for the longest time. Cuz what if I was wrong and I ended up looking like a clown (if you know what I mean). So I stuck to the safe, muted side of olive makeup which works in a very natural sort of way.

Today, I passed by a Revlon counter and saw they had Cherries in the Snow, which is a pink lipstick that the interwebs says people with my skin tone should try. So, I swatched it. Incredibly PINK. Then, I thought, wth and bought it.

I'm at home, on my sofa, wearing and typing this. I am in love with how it looks. I NEVER would have picked this shade for myself. It's the most vibrant lipstick I have ever owned. I think my brain chemistry has changed after seeing what it looks like on me.

So, if you're debating getting a vibrant or neon or out-there shade, do it. It might work out. Or it might not. But, you'll never know if you don't try.
