Hey so I will preface this by saying I’m not a witch but I respect magick and I don’t want to do anything wrong. So three years ago a housemate (and former friend) sat down and we made this spell together. I’ve never done any spells so I just followed their instructions. I can’t remember specific ingredients or the process but it was a spell to help me sleep better; I wrote something down, sealed it with wax, and then kept it on my bedside table. The spell did not work and I know now this person had ill intent from the beginning. I won’t go into specifics but they lied about things, stole from me, and betrayed my trust.
I only just found the jar recently in a box, and I want to know how to cancel or dispose of it properly. I considered burning it, burying it, and throwing it out but I don’t know if that’ll backfire or anything. I was also given this crystal (I can’t remember its type) which has cracked, and I don’t know if it can be cleansed or I should get rid of it.
I don’t want any negative vibes towards this person but I want rid of any potential energy these objects have.
