Hey folks.

I'm running an online community and starting to hit a wall with chat moderation as we scale. Things are getting harder to keep clean and safe without burning out the mod team.

The main issue is that most platforms we tried (Discord, Telegram, Slack) don't really handle proactive moderation well, especially when content spikes fast or during live events. We end up reacting too late.

I've been looking into alternatives and came across Watchers seems interesting because it combines community chat with AI-driven moderation and even has built-in live streaming, which could simplify our stack a lot.

Has anyone here actually used something like this in production? How reliable is AI moderation in real communities at scale?

Also curious: what chat platforms are you using that handle growth + moderation without constant manual intervention? Would love real-world feedback.

Hey folks!

I’ve been looking a platform for my community chat lately, since Discord and Geneva have started to feel a bit limiting over time. Discord is powerful but gets messy fast, and Geneva feels cleaner but doesn’t always have the depth or flexibility I need as things grow.

While searching, I came across Watchers, and it actually looks like a pretty interesting alternative. From what I understand, it’s built around community chats with live streaming and AI moderation all integrated into one place, instead of juggling separate tools. The idea of having real-time chat + built-in streams + smarter moderation (not just keyword filters) is pretty appealing, especially since managing all of that manually doesn’t scale well.

So now I’m trying to figure out what actually matters in practice. What kind of moderation feels useful - do people really want AI stepping in in real time, or does it end up being more annoying than helpful? How much control should admins have over it? And on the streaming side, does having it fully integrated into chat really improve the experience, or are external tools already “good enough”?

Been looking for a reliable exchanger that doesn’t require full KYC for standard crypto swaps. Most of the big CEXes want passport scans and selfies just to move BTC or USDT, which feels excessive for smaller amounts.

I’m not doing anything shady - just want to swap between coins without jumping through hoops every time. A few services I’ve seen mentioned: FixedFloat, ChangeNOW, a couple others. But I’ve also had a swap stall on me with one of these so now I’m more careful about checking reputation before I use anything.

What are people here actually using? Specifically interested in ones that have been around for a few years and have a track record.
