For reference, Mushu had recently started showing stress and boredom behaviors in his enclosure after turning his dig boxes into nests. His stress very quickly became our stress and to make matters worse, I couldn't even let him out for free roam as I had influenza at the time so his boredom very rapidly escalated.

His new items finally arrived a few days ago and I have barely seen Mushu since then (a positive sign as he doesn't tend to be a particularly social hamster and chooses very selectively when he's willing to interact). His boredom behaviors have completely ceased and we are both loving his new setup. He has returned to his usual hammy ways and can be heard finally making burrows and zooming naturally again!
