Regarding SP Alternatives
I am not affiliated with Simply Plural, Octocon, or any mentioned SP alternative on this document. This is a personal project that I want to share so it can help people, not out of malice or to spread rumors about the situation. Feel free to spread it around!
Hey all! I've been working on a resource document for a little while now to make sure people can reasonably browse alternatives for specific software needs (whether you're iOS, Android, or need to use web versions of apps). This is specifically meant for the people who don't necessarily know of a place to go and don't know where to start researching. Obviously, I highly recommend using your own discretion and look into things deeply before trusting any place with your information (especially if you're a disordered system who has used Simply Plural to track medical information in the past).
I've seen a lot of vibe-coding (AI-generative coding) in the community lately and am putting a strict focus on avoiding "approving" these apps/websites for the safety of user data. I've also added as much information as I think is relevant because systemhood/plurality is a deeply personal topic to so many people, and it's best to make sure things will abide your boundaries. That being said, I think I'm finally ready to share this! I understand if it gets shot down by mods or something along those lines. Please remain civil in discussions about these platforms, do not harass any developer (controversial or otherwise), and feel free to recommend any other things that have worked out for you so I can review and add it to the lists on my time!
EDIT: On an additional note, I forgot to mention that I share ways you can back up your pre-existing Simply Plural data (front history, user reports including custom fields & custom fronts) without having to go through importing them into another system app!
