The father of my children had his financial records subpoenaed, and missed the deadline. The deadline was two weeks ago. My lawyer is currently out of the office until June (something I didn’t know would happen when I hired them.) I’ve asked a couple times when the motion to compel will be filed, but I never get an answer to that question back. They’ll respond to other questions though. At what point should I worry and what can I do? Is it a big deal to wait until June for the motion to compel to be filed or is this more urgent? Our court date isn’t until August.
