About a month ago I switched from 1.2gig internet to 1gig. After about 2 weeks I felt like my internet when streaming was being affected by the switch so I called xfinity and switched to 2gig and also traded in my xb7 modem for the xb8 modem. With the 1gig and xb7 I was getting about 1.2gig download and close to 125mbps upload. Now after setting up the xb8 and upgrading to 2gig I’m only getting 1gig download and around 80mbps upload. I was told my speeds would be 2gig download and 250mbps upload with the 2gig plan. All of these numbers are speed tests through my Xbox series x with an Ethernet cord in the 2.5gb Ethernet port spot on the xb8. All equipment is the exact same including the Ethernet cord except for the speed change and updated router. Can someone from Comcast help me resolve this issue? I’ve called the customer service line and they didn’t fix it. They said they would make a ticket for tech support but nothing has been fixed as of yet and that was last Sunday
