I was diagnosed with lichen sclerosus a few months ago and the clobetasol and tacrolimus regimen has been going great, but suddenly my itching has started to increase again and i’ve been getting this weird white glue like substance on my labia minora that’s been EXTREMELY hard to remove along with the weird white pattern on the labia majora. i’m talking i have to sit in warm bath for over 30 minutes and then i can finally remove it with a lubricated q tip but then it’s still a little difficult, and the other day i took a bath it didn’t soften at all (the second picture). i’ve called my doctors over a week ago with no answer, and will be calling again today. is this just regular smegma that’s impossible to remove for no reason? i just don’t know why it would suddenly be collecting there. is this my labia minora trying to fuse to the majora? is this just lichen sclerosus flaring?? like i’m honestly so confused, i see a pelvic floor therapist and she wasn’t really sure what it was either since it was so difficult to remove. i just don’t know why it wouldn’t be coming off the labia minora. has anyone has anything similar?
the buildup has no smell, and when removed the skin underneath kinda looks fresh, like bright red. sorry this is extremely hard to explain and i’m just wondering if anyone has had anything look remotely similar to this.
