Unifi UDR7 vs TP-Link BE550
The 12-year-old router that came with my apartment is finally dying and it's time for a new one. I have fiber-optic connectivity at very high speeds due to my local ISP, so I wanted a router that could handle it, and these two options seemed to be among the most frequently recommended. I can find the TP-Link one for about $150, while the UDR costs close to twice that price at nearly $300. However, I do have security concerns about the TP-Link. For a smallish apartment that doesn't need multiple access points, which should I choose? I run a 4-bay Synology NAS and Raspberry Pi with Pi-Hole on my network if that makes any difference.
