Liberty 1875

I rarely hear anyone talk about the fragrance line from the British purple department store. I recently went in and smelled all their fragrances, the one that really caught my eye was Liberty 1875. I’m upset that I didn’t discover it in the winter so I could wear the shit out of it.

This fragrance combined my two favorite elements in one perfume… white florals and smokiness. If you live close by, please go in and smell it. I’m so curious to read what other people think. I’m absolutely obsessed with the packaging design too. Everything about this fragrance line screams for my name. I find myself googling it once every week just to stare. I bought the 10ml version and it is absolute torture thinking about the vial in my room that I can’t use because of the summer heat. I feel like I’m slowly going crazy.

I’ve always heard from older people that my generation is very impulsive and hasty and expects results very fast. I did agree to a certain extent but only recently when I started examining my past in a greater detail did I realize the extent of how hasty I’ve been. Thinking about my decision to join university even though I had no idea what I wanted to do, and also my decision to get a job before I even graduated and could have time to plan things out properly. Looking back I don’t even know what I was in a rush for? If I took my time I would have probably landed in a major better suited to my ambitions and if I took my time with my job searching I probably would have also landed in a job thats more suited to my aspirations. I want to clarify that I don’t regret anything. Im very grateful for how my life has turned out but i am reflecting on my decision making mindset.

My main question is: how do I correct this behavior and make more informed decisions in the future? I’ve always been a go with the flow person but I’m starting to feel like im starting to outgrow this style for important choices. I’d really appreciate if some of the older members of this subreddit who can maybe relate could give me some advice regarding this. I get that this is a very general question so if you’d like me to elaborate please let me know!

I’ve been eating sardines for a really long time now. Every single time I eat sardines I feel like they don’t get digested properly in my body or maybe they don’t agree with me and I always feel bloated. You are probably wondering why i kept eating them. It’s because I never noticed this before.I was always experiencing digestive issues but now that I’m better I can actually feel what’s triggering my system and what isn’t and I’m also trying to eat things that make me feel comfortable. I love eating them flavour wise and this issue has been really bothering me! I don’t think I’m ready to give up my sardines.. if I can’t resolve this I’ll just stick to eating them on the weekends.

I’d love to hear if anyone else had the same issue in the past. I was thinking maybe cooking them a little might resolve this because I usually eat them straight from the can.

Edit: thank you all for your input. This has been very helpful for me and I will do some trial and error testing with your suggestions to hopefully find something that works ❤️
