hello everyone, I’m a full time college student looking to move out for the first time because I’m not sure how much longer I can stand living at home. I’m not currently working because of how busy school has been (and honestly I don’t have enough qualifications for any IT role rn) but I have over 5k saved from financial support & the VA benefits for school. I’ve been looking at apartments/rooms for rent but every one has ghosted me and I fear the problem is that I don’t have any credit established yet (I just started building it 2-3 months ago).
Does anyone know leasing places that are lenient about credit? Even a room for rent w private bathroom. I’m willing to pay the deposit and up to 3 months rent to accommodate for not having credit.
I know I don’t really have room to be picky but the ideal place is pre-furnished, private bathroom (if renting a room), utilities included, and if applicable roommates that are in the same age range as me so I don’t have to worry about being in the same spot I am now (overbearing/unaccepting family). I know obviously that I’m not going to get everything I want in a place but at least a few things would definitely be nice
