I absolutely loved Gravity Falls. The mystery, humor, weirdness, emotional moments, all of it.

Now I’m wondering if Adventure Time or Steven Universe should be my next watch… but I keep hearing both get really deep/lore-heavy and sometimes emotionally draining?

I like good storytelling and lore, but I don’t necessarily want something that feels mentally exhausting. Gravity Falls was kind of my perfect balance: fun, clever, mysterious, emotional, but still easy to enjoy.

So would you recommend Adventure Time or Steven Universe for someone like that, or should I skip both and try something else instead?

Open to other recs too if there’s a show that captures that Gravity Falls vibe better.
