I once posted here looking for a deck idea and got some great suggestions, so I’m back again.
Over time, my Magic journey has led me to develop an irrational (but fully committed) hatred for the color green (I know, this is unpopular)
People in my playground know this fact, and they play a lot of green decks just to bother me (in a fun way ofc), so I thought... Why shouldn't I create something that represent me?
I want to build an anti-green Commander deck, something that can disrupt typical green strategies: shutting down big creatures, messing with +1/+1 counters, avoiding fight mechanics, that kind of things
I’m looking for card suggestions, even weird or funny ones, not just the most optimal picks, whatever comes to mind I wanna take a look at it!
So, a few things:
- I haven’t chosen a commander yet
- Any color is welcome in this deck, except green
- No game changers
- Cards that specifically hate green (like [[Acid Rain]]) are interesting, but I’d prefer more flexible options (like [[Thief of Blood]]) for suggestions. If you think something is worth it, don't be afraid to suggest it though!
- No mass land destruction
