That’s how she broke up with me. She said she still cares about me and that I taught her what to expect from a partner but she sees me more as a friend now.

That makes me feel pathetic. I know I have a great personality, I’m outgoing, funny, and I’m very caring and loyal. But for her to lose feelings for me makes me feel like I’m lacking masculine traits. It hurts and it is making me feel very negative about myself

I haven’t had any dating success or even any hookups since the breakup and it’s leaving me depressed. I’m feeling lonely and want connection and that makes me keep thinking of her. I don’t know what to do. I’ve been going to therapy but I still feel stuck in this hole
