I am going to look at this 23 XLT on Saturday. It has the 302A equipment group - high and \\\~12,000 miles and the 3.5L V6 24V PDI DOCH engine. They're asking $45,995. The CarFax comes back clean, one owner with timely oil changes. The only negative things I see on the CarFax is that it has two open recalls.

1 - 8/11/2025 Rear axle half-shaft and hub assembly replacement NHTSA #25V5132 Recall #25S82

2 - 3/17/2026 Trailer module reprogramming NHTSA #26V104 Recall # 26C10

Has anyone had these recalls done on a 23? The rear axle half-shaft hub assembly recall particularly worries me. Does anyone think that this is a good buy? Ziegler gave me a quote of $2,380 for a 7 years/100,000 PremiumCARE policy. That seems high to other similarly equipped comparable F-150's that I have gotten quotes for.

Should I walk away or use the recalls to get some money off the truck with the dealership?

Thanks in advance!
