Worried about the GOP gaining 2/3rds majority and altering the United States Constitution.
I am personally worried about the possibility of the GOP gaining the 2/3rds majority in Congress and having the ability to ratify the Constitution to do some truly heinous no-return edits, like criminalizing abortion or criminalizing being queer or transgender. Am I being delusional or is there too much evidence to support the existence of such a possibility?
EDIT: Apparently it can only be amended if 3/4ths of all of the states are on board. I was probably thinking about the threshold needed to pass bills.
