i bought a ps2 earlier from a garage sale, and it turns on connects to my tv, we're all good there. however, there seems to be something wrong with the disk tray, and so i think it's making it have troubles knowing when it's closed, so it won't spin disks

it'll eject fine and i'll put the disk in, but when i try to close it, it'll close ( marginally sticking out ), try to reopen, not reopen, and then "close" again. i have to give the front of the tray a little nudge to close it all the way, but even then, it won't spin the disk. the tray will act like that if it doesn't have a disk, too

my first thought is it's a little misaligned but i'm not sure and wanted some advice, i kinda haven't touched a ps2 in like 20 yrs
