I’m looking for advice on how much this kind of treatment should cost.
I recently visited a local salon (in a rural part of the UK) for a consultation. I need my roots bleaching and a permanent blue dye putting on all my hair. I have previously had consultations for the same thing where I got quoted around £130 to £180, in which they said they would need to bleach all my hair.
This local salon told me that they wouldn’t need to bleach all my hair, and just the roots. She then told me that my roots would be a slightly different colour from the rest of my hair. I expected this, but thought maybe it would cost less than I had previously been quoted.
I just got quoted £350 for the service. Keep in mind that this salon was an average looking salon, that usually just does haircuts. The person doing my hair is experienced with colour.
This seems like an astronomical price to me, but would appreciate if anyone could share their experience or how much they paid for a similar thing. Thanks.
