I'm 6 weeks post septoplasty where they also removed polyps and some chronic infection I had in most of my sinuses.

For the past week I've been completely stuffed only in my left nostril. Last week they also told me that the polyps and inflammation are back. I've been having neon green mucus that comes out only from the left nostril every time I do the rinses. I noticed that the water doesn't get inside my left sinus in the cheek and just goes all the way out the other side. While it goes inside the one on the right and drains no problem.

After the second rinse of the day I had lots of stuff coming out. First there was some green mucus, then it was clear (possibly from the right side) and then this yellow blob came out.

Am I having a sinus infection already? I have no pain at all, but I never had pain even before the surgery. I have no fever, nothing. Before the mucus became green, I had lots of post nasal drip. Now that is way better, I just drain from the nose and it's yellow or neon green. Sometimes I get some cloudy green or yellow water to come out from the left nostril as if the rinse is finally draining 8 hours later and it's just disgusting.

Is this concerning? Should I be concerned? Should I do anything?

I had my surgery done on March 19. Septoplasty with a bunch of other stuff, plus removal of polyps.

I just left my appointment with the surgeon and he already found polyps in both sinuses. Last time he saw me three weeks ago everything was clean.

I've been following instructions to the T, but the past week my smell and taste was gone again and I kept sneezing and over producing mucus even if I was taking a bunch of meds to keep everything under control.

The worst part is that we are supposed to move overseas with the military and I did the surgery and everything to make sure I could go. But now I guess they might deny me.

I really don't know what else to do. I'm 27 and been dealing with this for 3 years. I don't see myself living my life like this, but I have no other options. I'm so done.
