UPDATE: I have fixed the problem by disabling steam's shader caching, turns out my shaders were getting corrupted in the pre-cache stage and feeding garbage data to the GPU, thank you to everyone who helped out!

System info: CachyOS 7.0.3-1, i5-11400F, 9060XT (16GB) 32GB DDR4

Howdy folks, was wondering if anyone had some wisdom to this issue. It's a bit of a saga but I'll try to keep it short. I was long overdue for an upgrade on my 3050 so I decided to get a newer card, the 9060. Ran through CachyOS' instructions https://wiki.cachyos.org/features/chwd/gpu_migration/ and everything seems fine - my issue arises with gaming.

I'll get into a match of CS, it'll be fine for a while and then throw up VK_ERROR_DEVICE_LOST and freeze on me, locking my system up. There have even been times where that dialog hasn't shown up and I've had to move to tty2 to get a sign of life out of the system. This issue has persisted with other games like Overwatch and oddly enough Schedule I.

I feel like I've ran Claude to death on trying to get a solution to this, I've changed Steam environment variables aplenty, changed from CachyOS' Proton to older versions of it, I'm also on the git version of mesa. Has anyone encountered this same issue or knows a fix? I'm looking for a hero here.

I can provide logs if/when needed, just don't know what information is relevant to the question at hand here.
