Hello was curious if setting your voice activity to push to talk on mobile iOS is voided once the app is no longer in focus. I ask becuz when the app is in the background while in a call the voice activity meter on the top middle of my screen can be seen moving. So this makes me wonder if when the app is in the background it just defaults back to open mic voice activity since you wouldn’t be able to press the push to talk button anyways when the app isn’t in focus.

Just for context the person I’m calling with is asleep and hasn’t been woken up by any noise yet but I don’t want to risk it. So I haven’t had a chance to ask if they can hear anything.
