I typed out a post with details of how it came to be that I haven’t lived with my parents for nearly 2 years, but it was tltr so I’ll skip straight to my questions, since how I got here is mostly irrelevant.

Have any of you been separated from your parents for an extended period then reunited? How did it feel? How did you respond when they said no to something or corrected you? Of course don’t feel obligated to share why you were separated, that can be a private thing, I’m more curious what it was like when you became a family again and suddenly you went from raising yourself to being parented again.

My parents bought a house here and are moving in next weekend and want me to live with them again.
