OFFLINE - Explore. Leave a Trace.
Hey everyone, I’m working on a new social app called OFFLINE: https://www.offlinewrld.com OFFLINE is a map-based social network where people can leave “Traces” in real-world locations — photos, videos, and memories connected to actual places. Instead of another endless feed designed only for passive scrolling, the idea is to build a social experience around real-life discovery: you explore the world, leave a Trace, and discover moments through places. What makes it different is the location-first approach: the map is not just an extra feature, it is the core of the product. Traces are tied to places, Memories can preserve past moments, and the whole experience is designed to feel more premium, intentional, and connected to real life rather than just another dopamine feed. I’m currently collecting feedback on the concept, landing page, and positioning before expanding the beta. A few questions for the community: 1) Would you personally use a map-based social app like this? 2) Is the value proposition clear from the landing page? 3) What would make you join the waitlist or try the beta? 4) Does the concept feel different enough from Instagram, Snapchat Map, or BeReal?
