My husband makes no money. He's self employed and the business hasn't netted a reasonable income in 10 years. He carries $40k in credit card debt to survive. He recently got $14k in inheritance money and didn't tell me. when I found out 5 months later, I was very angry. I'm saving every penny I can for retirement which is in the next few years and I'll be 90% of our retirement income. I see us as a team and feel very strongly that he should have disclosed the money to me so that we could make a joint decision about where it could be best used. I feel deceived. AITA?
