No Camera or Mic?

I'm seriously struggling to find a smart device that didn't have a camera or microphone. I want to be able to consult with various AI agents during my work, but that work is inside a secured building in which no video- or audio- recording- capable devices are allowed. Obviously that rules out phones because they require a microphone to talk to someone. And I haven't been able to find a tablet of any type that is sans camera. Any ideas?

Ratcheting sockets

So I did a thing. I got tired of being unable to use my plumbing sockets in some situations. So I solved it temporarily like this.

  1. Buy the cheapest possible universal joint for a large size ratcheting socket wrench. This ensures the material won't be tool-rated hard.

  2. Knock out the first connecting pin.

  3. Drill out the remaining holes with my 5/16" drill bit.

  4. Assemble.

When this finally fails, or when I have enough money again, I'm just going to get an impact-rated deep socket and drill a hole straight through the side (but not so close to the end that I risk the socket splitting in actual use).
