Cyrus Allen Reception Perception Profile

Cyrus Allen Reception Perception Profile

The success rate vs man is 85th percentile and vs zone is 80th percentile

Dude is a separator and arguably the best player vs man in the room today as a prospect coming out of college.

One more mock because I feel like it

I am feeling more in more confident that barring a trade up and both Tate/Tyson being gone that Bain Jr will make it to 9. If he does it is a no brainer selection to add talent to a desperate edge room. I do think there will be some growing pains for the unit still, but at least now George should have a competent running mate.

Reid being gung-ho on finishing the OLine has me believing that they will ultimately select one at 29 or via a trade up. I think Veach wants pass rush/WR and Andy wants the OLine solidified. Here they meet in the middle on the tackle out of Utah. Get him into camp to compete with Moore, Pole, Godrick, and Wanya for the RT spot.

Hood probably doesn’t last this long, but use this spot as the obligatory CB pick. Call it Ponds, Terrell, Cisse, Johnson, etc. I think this is where they get their next CB to develop with Nohl.

Antonio Williams is such a Reid WR. Tough over the middle, good separator, creates easy throws for the QB, and is probably just a WR2 at the next level. I am not saying I am ecstatic for this pick, but I just see this one happening for some reason even though they haven’t been linked to him.

Kilgore feels like a Spags player. This is another one I could see them salivating over and maybe even doing a minor trade up to secure early on day 3.

Zxavian Harris is the annual “character concern guy that the chiefs can’t help but bet on”. They have a “but I can change him” mentality when it comes to drafting and that is Harris this year. Don’t know if they can help themselves with his measurables.

Prysock is a Spags corner through and through. The guy they let Merritt mold into a dude that can take snaps by mid to late in the season. They’ve been linked to him as well in the process.

I feel bad for York. If he had even slightly longer frame, he might go late day 2, but he doesn’t and we get a good instinctual player with clear deficiencies. I can’t hate that at this late on day 3 to roll the dice on a guy like him.

Dae’Quan Wright to me is a good blocker with receiving chops to beat man coverage. Get him on some crossers/up the seam to use his speed and blocking at the LOS then I think he can be a serviceable #2 option at the spot.

This is it for me. What a fun offseason this one has been because we haven’t needed one to hit so desperately in a long time. Can’t wait to rip it up on here this weekend!
