Hello, I'm currently running LibreOffice 26.2.3 on Windows 10, although I saw the same behavior with 25.8.6. When I start typing a formula, no tooltip (?) appears like I expect. For example, if I want to remind myself of the arguments for COUNTIF in Excel, I start typing "=COUNTIF(" and a tooltip appears to show me the arguments for COUNTIF.

In my install of Calc, nothing appears as I type:

In cell E5, I have typed in \"=COUNTIF(\" with no response from Calc

Tooltip may not be the correct term, which might explain why I didn't find anything searching r/libreoffice before creating this post. This seems to apply to any formula I start typing.

Anyone have any thoughts?
