Attaching emails from New Outlook (App) onto OneNote not supported?

The Chief Exec from my org has been unable to attach files from New Outlook App into a OneNote Action Log document that they work from.
If you right click an email and copy to clipboard, there is no function or ability to paste.
It is only possible to do this when using Classic Outlook.
When I used copilot to find out why, it said that rather than New Outlook building on from Classic Outlook, it was built in a completely different way which means functionality was removed/reduced.
Does anyone know of a way to copy emails from New Outlook to OneNote without having to revert back to Classic Outlook please?
