Long story short,I(F18)was friends with these this two kids in middle school(I’m in 12th grade now.) about a two years ago I broke things off with my one friend I’ll call friend A(M)He was still friends with friend B(F)but Friend B was a flakey bitch,she would ghost us weeks at a time and then show up again like nothing happened,she also insisted on staying friends with someone else despite knowing she was very toxic and cruel to me(Another story) well she moved and told no one until two months after she moved,I can understand that but she barely talked to me now and stayed in full contact with with friend A and rarely texted me despite me texting her. I eventually broke things off with her cause she was just so exhausting and unreliable,I warned friend A about her and that she was bad news and he blew up on me. Calling me an asshole and to be more supportive of her(Apparently she was going through family issues?) and that if I couldn’t be supportive of her then we can’t be friends. So I dumped him and didn’t speak to either for at least a two years.
Then out of nowhere he messaged me on discord saying he’s sorry he didn’t listen to my warning,she stole his girlfriend and is now ghosting him and now wants to reconnect with me. I’m not up for that,he hurt my feelings badly and I can’t forgive him for what he said and he only came crawling back and apologized after I was proven right. So I turned him down and blocked him.
It’s been another two years since this happened and I still feel like an asshole for this and I don’t know if I made the right choice.
Am I the asshole?
