So here's what's happening. I'm playing any game, and randomly my fps will drop from 120 to 10. Now this happens within 10 minutes, or after an hour, or after 2 hours, or after 7 hours even. And once I restart my laptop, I'm back on 120 fps until this happens again. Everything outside of the game is working perfectly including streaming on Discord.
Now, I don't know why this is happening. I cleaned my laptop last month, and I clean it every 6 months. And as for temps, my GPU (Nvidia Quadro T2000 Max Q) runs at 75-80C. And my CPU (i7-10750H) also runs at 65-75C. I have 32 Gigs of RAM.
So I am at a loss of why this is happening. I showed this issue to a few friends with screenshots of temperatures and usages, and they seem to be confused as well. This started happening like 3 days ago when I was playing Dead by Daylight.
Now I'm posting here as my last resort. My laptop is HP Zbook Fury 15 G7. I know it's not a gaming laptop, but it handles games very smoothly. I manage to get 80-90fps in RE4 remake without any FSR. Warframe at high runs at 120.
Please please, someone help me out.
