After about 2 years my(i think red oak) staff has this little piece coming off. Would sanding it and re spray with the gloss finish be ok? Also what finish am i supposed to use for this 😅. This piece did not lift off a spot that has a bruise from previous dropping, does that mean its not good quality? Thank you

Unsure if this is the right sub but my other post only got 4 views so i am trying here. To make it short. This looks cool af. 15/10 for my artistic taste. I do not want to pay this money for something shitty. Ive never done butterfly knife so i will only be practicing on the grass until i no longer drop it. And i would like it to be sturdy enough to use as a sparing knife(dont worry i am only fighting wood with it, i use rubber ones for people ).

I wont get into detail why. But this holds alot of sentimental value. My friend had it passed to him with a fucked up handle, he messed it up more. He covered it in electrical tape and super glue. 15 years later its disgusting to touch. Id love to get it fixed. But i saw some place say 125$. And when i try to google it in my areas it only brings up sharpening services. My friend gave it to me and said whoever gave it to him(i dont remember who he said it was) was deployed with this knife(i feel like its a lie)

I have this regular closed shirt martial arts top. Its extra so i was unsure of what to do with it. I am using it for ninja cosplays. I think i want to open the front but am at a loss for ideas. I just didnt want to make something i could easily buy off the internet.
