Ignite is trash, but compounding could save it. If all of our fire damage compounded it would make spells which hit more actually useful for the ailment, ignite is never good with fast hits unlike the other cold/lightning ailments which work with fast hits.

It would also make wildfire/spread mechanics feel incredible. Please consider this for 0.5
